Mangalore, India – Strengthening international academic collaboration, the Head of Departments (HoDs) and faculty members of Kyrgyz National University (KNU) recently visited Yenepoya University for a campus exploration. This visit marked a significant milestone in the growing partnership between the two institutions, aimed at enhancing medical education and student exchange opportunities.
Led by HoD Changiz Sir, the KNU delegation engaged in discussions with Yenepoya’s academic leadership, exploring avenues for joint research initiatives, academic exchange programs, and curriculum development. The highlight of the visit was an insightful address by Chancellor Farhaad Sir, who welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of global academic partnerships in shaping the future of medical education.
The delegation toured Yenepoya’s advanced medical training facilities, engaging in knowledge-sharing sessions with faculty members to discuss innovative teaching methodologies and student learning strategies.
Following this successful visit, the first batch of students enrolled in the MBBS program has now reached Kyrgyzstan to begin their medical education journey at KNU. As they embark on this transformative phase, the students are set to experience world-class education, modern medical training, and an internationally recognized curriculum that will prepare them for successful careers in the medical field.
This collaboration between KNU and Yenepoya continues to create seamless pathways for aspiring medical professionals, ensuring they receive high-quality education and global exposure.
